My mom found this great pattern as a display item in a yarn store.  They didn’t have the pattern or yarn still in stock, so I made up something similar.  She loves the fact that she can tuck the ends of it in the front of her vest or jacket without it looking too bulky.

I haven’t tried this pattern in a yarn without a lot of drape – I have no idea how it would turn out in a non-acrylic or fuzzier yarn.
